PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator, ideally with experience in high-end/high-volume sales; patient coordination experience within a medical or aesthetic practice is a plus. This role is crucial in guiding patients through their surgical journey, from initial interaction to postoperative care. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, and capable of delivering a high volume of 5-star patient experiences. The onboarding will include extensive and comprehensive training during the orientation period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for new and returning patients, ensuring a warm, welcoming environment.
- Manage patient inquiries, schedule consultations, and assist with pre- and post-operative appointments.
- Provide detailed information about surgical procedures, answer patient questions, and address concerns with empathy.
- Guide patients through the consultation process, including reviewing quotes, financing options, and coordinating surgical scheduling. Comfort presenting quotes from $15,000 to $50,000+ is a must.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to optimize patient flow and satisfaction.
- Participate in sales activities, including follow-up calls, to help convert leads into booked surgeries, often dozens or hundreds per day/week.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with a demonstrable track record of success, preferably within a plastic surgery or aesthetic practice.
- Knowledge of facial plastic surgery procedures, particularly facelifts and rhinoplasty, is highly desirable but not required.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-focused attitude.
- Proficiency with EMR systems and scheduling software. The ability to type fast and manage a high volume of computer-based tasks with a smile is a must.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Professional demeanor and appearance, consistent with a luxury service environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 anticipated annual compensation including base compensation and commission, based on experience and qualifications.
