For patients seeking natural skin renewal, microneedling is a gold standard treatment. Microneedling rejuvenates the skin by promoting your skin’s own revitalization process, giving it that healthy glow. Microneedling is a great alternative to laser resurfacing treatments or chemical peels. It can help you achieve smoother, younger looking skin on your face or neck with virtually zero downtime.

How does microneedling work?

Microneedling uses tiny, sterile needles to puncture the surface of the skin on your face and neck, creating a micro-injury. This stimulates your skin’s natural production of elastin and collagen, reducing signs of age. Dr. Starkman either delivers or supervises all microneedling treatments himself, assuring his patients of quality treatment.

Microneedling improves the tone, texture, and quality of the skin on the face and neck, and it can also reduce and minimize wrinkles, scars, fine lines, sun spots, and other blemishes in these areas.

Recovery From Microneedling

No downtime is required after microneedling treatment. The most common side effect of treatment is temporary redness and mild swelling that typically lasts for up to four days. A small number of patients (less than 10 percent) may experience scabbing, peeling, and discomfort in the treatment area, which is typically self-resolving.

Results of SkinStylus microneedling

The SkinStylus was created by a team of skincare and medical professionals to fill the void of effective treatments for abdominal scarring. Its three unique configurations allow us to safely and easily treat scars and deep skin blemishes. It is backed by years of research and clinical trials. In clinical trials, 73 percent of patients saw meaningful improvement in reducing the appearance of scarring, when assessed by external professionals. When used to enhance the complexion, visible improvement in skin tone and texture is seen within a few days.
